Hey there I'm Annika!

I am a portrait photographer, who was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I graduated from the University of Arizona in May of 2023 with a degree in photography. My work is centered around capturing the beauty of the human spirit and condition through portraiture. 

My approach to photography is simple. Capture the now. Preserve a piece of the present. We spend so much of our lives wishing for the future, that it is all too easy to overlook the fruits of the present. My photographs serve as a vessel for the reflection of one’s future self, personal growth, and journey.

I describe my photography style as glowy and ethereal. While shooting I maximize location and lighting to ensure a diverse collection of photographs. I almost exclusively use natural light to illuminate my photos. I work best within nature to elegantly frame and pose my subjects.  

I believe everyone is uniquely beautiful and deserves to feel as such through their photos. Your session should be about celebrating YOU and all your accomplishments.
